We put great importance on our financial fitness believing that financial security translates to a satisfied contented life. Gym membership has grown significantly over the years because of people’s desire to get physically fit to increase their muscles. Where do we go and what do we do to build up our emotional fitness? Do we believe that our emotional fitness will come automatically when we have enough money and muscles?
Emotional fitness is the most important asset we have; it carries us through the times when money and muscle doesn’t help. It carries us through the times when we don’t have either money or muscle. It carries us through illness and all of our negative feelings. It makes us whole when we are broken.
Without emotional fitness we are on the roller coaster of our feelings and emotions, up and down we go.
